Who we are
DueBelle Clinic is an advanced aesthetic medicine centre located in Edificio Tramonto, Cuenca, Ecuador. We are the controller of the data we collect through the DueBelle application.
This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
What data we collect
Contact data: name, email address and, if you provide them, telephone number and date of birth.
Appointment data: the treatment booked, date, time, status and the amount of the visit.
DuePoints programme data: points balance, transactions, redemptions and your referral code.
The application does not store medical records, diagnoses, clinical photographs or test results. That information is handled solely in the clinic's internal records, outside the application.
What we use them for
To manage and confirm your appointments, send you reminders, administer your DuePoints balance and redemptions, credit referral benefits and communicate with you about your bookings. We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Who we share them with
We use Google Firebase (Google LLC) as our authentication, database and notification provider. Your data is hosted on Google servers in São Paulo, Brazil. Google acts as a data processor and does not use the data for its own purposes. The clinic team accesses your contact details, appointments and points only in order to care for you.
How long we keep them
We keep your account and your appointment history for as long as the account remains active. DuePoints expire after 12 months of inactivity, and we warn you before that happens. If you delete your account, we erase your personal data within the following 30 days, except for records that Ecuadorian law requires us to retain.
Your rights
Under the Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data of Ecuador, you may request access to, rectification, erasure or portability of your data, and you may object to its processing or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us and we will respond to your request within a maximum of 15 days.
Deleting your account
You can request the deletion of your account and your data by writing to us on WhatsApp or to our contact email address. You may also request it in person at the clinic. Deletion is permanent and means losing any accumulated DuePoints balance.
Minors
The application is intended for people over 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
